I planned and coordinated my first event in 2005.  I officially started my business in the summer of 2007.  I am very detail oriented person.  I want to make sure even the tiniest things are perfect!  I know some people find the planning process overwhelming or the attention to detail stressful - but I love these aspects of planning events!  No one should be overwhelmed or stressed on their wedding day (or on any of the days leading up to it!)

"When we hired you as our 'weekend coordinator', little did we know just how much work you'd really do. I really appreciated that you were there for us all year long to bounce ideas off, double-check our progress and make sure we weren't forgetting about anything. You also took the time to get to know us, so that if you needed to make decisions, you'd know what we would want to do - and I think that came in handy when I broke my foot just before the wedding and couldn't get everything done that I had planned. The wedding weekend was so much more relaxed for us, knowing we trusted you to take care of anything. You really did so much more than we thought we had hired you for - you decorated, hauled stuff around, finished the bouquets when some flowers wilted - and made some we had forgotten to do entirely. You made sure everyone in the wedding party was on the same page, you got everyone where they needed to be on time, cued the music, kept the children on task, and so, so much more. One of the things I appreciated the most is that you got to know our families' dynamics, and helped keep the peace at the rehearsal, ceremony and reception. In short, you were our consultant, task manager, problem solver, driver, hauler, florist, decorator, ring leader, babysitter and bouncer... and I'm pretty sure I'm leaving a whole lot out.  Even my husband said we couldn't have picked a more perfect person to coordinate our wedding weekend. I think impressing the groom that much should make you feel pretty proud!
